Explosions were heard in the Bryansk region: a station of the Druzhba oil pipeline was on fire. Photos and video
On the night of Thursday, January 30, the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation was attacked by UAVs. The target was reportedly a distribution station of the Druzhba oil pipeline near the town of Novozybkov.
Russian media reported that loud explosions were heard in the sky above the city. After that, a fire started in one of the districts.
The fire was seen from the direction of Mamay and Zamishevo.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking Bryansk region with drones, eyewitnesses report a fire in the Novozybkov district," the network wrote.
The Novozybkov oil pumping station is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which transports oil from Russia to Europe. The site in the Bryansk region is the last pumping point before the border with Ukraine.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, at the end of December last year, a Ukrainian drone missile "Hell" allegedly arrived near the town of Novozybkov, Bryansk region. This was stated by Russian propaganda, complaining about an attempt to attack the Druzhba oil pipeline.
