On Wednesday, January 1, a Russian drone attacked the apartment of Ukrainian neuroscientist and professor Ihor Zyma in Kyiv. His friends and acquaintances are currently trying to contact him, but he is not answering his phone.
This was reported by journalist Oleksiy Bobrovnikov on his Facebook page. Rescuers and law enforcement officers continue to work at the site.
"Today, the enemy attacked the city and hit the apartment of our friend Ihor Zyma, a neuroscientist, professor, and specialist in odors. We are keeping our fingers crossed until Ihor picks up the phone," Bobrovnikov wrote.
We would like to add that Ihor Hryhorovych Zyma is a Doctor of Biological Sciences. D., Head of the Integrative EEG service team at the Institute of Biology and Medicine. He has more than 40 years of scientific experience and leads a research team engaged in neuro- and psychophysiology.
As a reminder, on the morning of January 1, defenders of the sky destroyed a number of Russian attack drones in Kyiv. The wreckage of the downed targets landed in several districts, causing fires and damage, killing two people and injuring seven in the center of the capital.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, a Russian kamikaze drone damaged a house built in the 1930s in the Pechersk district of Kyiv on Wednesday, January 1. The cornerstone decorative tower and several floors of the old building were completely destroyed.
