The most trendy cars in Ukraine are inexpensive cars that are particularly popular in the crossover segment. However, sales of new cars have declined.
Affordable models are once again leading the sales rankings. In January 2025, according to Auto-Consulting statistics, the new car market amounted to 4,559 units. This is 6.1% less than in January 2024.
The most popular cars in Ukraine:
- Renault Duster (309 units);
- Toyota RAV4 (190 units);
- BYD Song (180 units);
- Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (170 units);
- Toyota Hilux (161 units);
- Kia Sportage (121 units);
- Hyundai Tucson (114 units);
- Skoda Octavia (110 units);
- Skoda Kodiaq (109 units);
- Nissan Qashqai (107 units).
The leaders are well-known manufacturers of affordable cars. The top two positions are occupied by the familiar Renault Duster (from UAH 829,900) and Toyota RAV4. Interestingly, the Chinese crossover BYD Song took third place. However, the demand for cars with CRS is not constant.
The top five also included a large SUV Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
