The American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler, which is widely considered the "bible for tourists" for its credibility and popularity, has named the best tourist destination in the world. It is the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.
Adventure enthusiasts from all over the world took part in the survey. More than half a million respondents voted for the best country on the list. The results of the Readers' Choice Awards were announced on the website.
