Clothes and bedding can dry twice as fast: an ingenious life hack

If you don't have a tumble dryer or don't want to use one to cut down on your energy bills, it makes it difficult to dry your clothes and bedding during wet weather.

Fortunately, there is a great life hack to speed up the process. It was shared on TikTok by Gemma Bird, an experienced housewife and mother who also participates in the ITV program Lorraine Save Squad.

She captioned her video: "Dry your clothes faster!". According to her, this ingenious life hack works when you have the heating on.

So, first, you need to hang your clothes and bedding on the dryer. Then you need to take a dry sheet and put it on the radiator to get it warm.

Next, take this sheet and cover the dryer with the clothes. As a result, you "conserve" heat, which cuts the drying process in half.

For extra help, homeowners can also place a dehumidifier near the vent to suck up all the extra moisture in the air. However, this step is optional.
