Christmas is coming: what other holidays are celebrated in December according to the New Julian calendar
December opens the season of Christmas and New Year's holidays and gives an atmosphere of joy, hope and faith in miracles. After the transition to the New Julian calendar, the faithful of the OCU and UGCC celebrate Christmas on December 25. The dates of church holidays have also shifted by 13 days.
St. Nicholas Day, a favorite of children, now falls on December 6. And the Christmas fast lasts from November 15 to December 24. OBOZ.UA publishes the dates of December holidays according to the new calendar.
