"BC Rivne" defeated "Cherkasy Monkeys" with a score of 94:89 in the final match of the Cherkasy Super League Favbet pool.
The beginning of the match was quite productive, with Smith for "Rivne" and Ahafonov for "Cherkasy Monkeys" playing solo in the opening minutes – Smith scored all 9 of the team's first points, and Ahafonov 7 of 9 with the score at 9:9. Until the first break, the teams were evenly matched, with a 24-21 advantage in the first quarter in favor of the Monkeys.
But the start of the second quarter was unfortunate for "Rivne" – the team missed 12 points in the first four minutes and scored only three after Solovyov's long-range shot. "Cherkasy Monkeys" earned a double-digit lead, which they confidently held until the break.

The last quarter was quite emotional and nervous for the teams. Carousels began on the court – the teams took turns taking the lead, but four minutes before the end, "Rivne" managed to make two consecutive interceptions, giving the team a +5 advantage.
This moment inspired "Rivne", whose players made several bright highlights at the end and won the match, gaining a second victory over "Cherkasy Monkeys" in Cherkasy, winning the season series against the opponent, and gaining their 14th victory of the season. This allowed Mykhailo Pereverziy's team to move up to second place in the standings. "Cherkasy Monkeys" remained fourth.
