Chelsea is after another Ukrainian national team player: media named an impressive transfer fee

Ukraine forward Artem Dovbyk may become a player of Chelsea in the winter transfer window. The coach of the English team, Mauricio Pochettino, is personally interested in the services of the Spanish Girona forward: he was impressed by the performance of our compatriot this season.

This was reported by the British tabloid The Sun. It is noted that Dovbyk is one of the first places on the shortlist of Chelsea, which is urgently looking for an opportunity to strengthen the team's attack as Senegalese Nicholas Jackson will drop out of the squad due to participation in the African Cup of Nations.

Pochettino sees Dovbyk as a player who will compete with Jackson for a starting spot. The Londoners are ready to pay 45 million euros for Artem. The Ukrainian forward has played 17 matches in the Spanish league this season, scoring 11 goals and making four assists.

The Chelsea coach hopes to complete the transfer thanks to the participation of Mykhailo Mudryk. The winger can convince his national teammate to agree to join the team.
