A new cheap crossover BYD Atto 2 from China is preparing to enter a new market. At the same time, the model has long been sold in Ukraine at a very low price. However, it is known under a different name.
In terms of size and main characteristics, the new model is comparable to other representatives of the segment, especially the Dacia Duster. Still, BYD has zero fuel consumption as the car is driven by an electric motor. Details are provided by CarNewsChina.
In Ukraine, BYD Yuan UP is sold at a price of $18,000 (in China, the price is $13,000). The budget electric car is expected to enter the British market under the name BYD Atto 2 in early 2025.
The body length of the Chinese BYD crossover is 4,310 mm with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. The width is 1,830 mm and the height is 1,675 mm. The design is modern, but the BYD Atto 2 looks almost the same as any other Chinese car.
The manufacturer will offer the car in the maximum version with a capacity of 174 hp. The capacity of the lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack is 42 kWh. The power reserve is 311 km. The car is equipped with a modern multimedia system, a panoramic roof and 17-inch wheels.
