Britain says Fury will "100% return" for one fight

Former three-weight world champion Duke McKenzie expressed confidence that Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) will resume his career in the near future. This will happen because of the promoters' intention to organize a fight between the Gypsy King and his compatriot Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

McKenzie said this in an interview with talkSPORT. According to the British ex-boxer, Fury probably sees himself nowhere else but in sports, and also feels strong enough to hold at least one more big fight, which is definitely the confrontation with Joshua.

"100% it will probably happen. He's going to come back and fight Joshua. He said the same thing a few times, and then, after a few months, he just gets bored and comes back. He says he has to do the only thing he can do. And that's boxing. And I don't see him as a TV analyst. It's not in his mentality. I think his strength would be to stay in the sport, but maybe as a promoter or manager. But I think he's ready for another fight," McKenzie said.

On January 13, Fury announced his retirement. It is important to remember that he has already done this twice. In 2017, he announced that he was retiring from boxing after defeating Volodymyr Klychko, and in 2022, he defeated Dillian Whyte (30-3, 20 KOs). After those statements, Fury returned to the ring a few months later.
