Britain points out in what Lomachenko is superior to Usyk and Beterbiev

Lomachenko has had a unique career

Former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) surpasses all modern boxers with the results of his performances in the amateur ring. The impressive record of our compatriot overlaps the achievements of Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), Russian light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) and another Russian Dmitry Bivol (23-1, 12 KOs).

This was stated by British boxing coach and analyst Taylor O'Higgins on his page on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter. He emphasized that Lomachenko lost only once in amateur boxing and became a two-time Olympic champion.

"Lomachenko has the best record of anyone, without question or doubt. Beterbiev's record is not bad either, but I've already explained that his 295-5 win-loss record is far from accurate," O'Higgins wrote.

Lomachenko fought 397 fights in the amateur ring, winning only one. Usyk suffered 15 defeats in 335 victories.

Recently, there was news that Vasyl had decided to end his career, but it turned out to be fake. In addition, the Ukrainian boxer received a challenge from Russia.

The 36-year-old Lomachenko was planning to return to boxing in 2025 to defend his International Boxing Federation (IBF) title, which he won in May 2024 by defeating George Kambosos by TKO in the 11th round in Australia.
