Holyfield assessed the December 21 fight
Legendary American boxer Evander Holyfield expressed his admiration for Oleksandr Usyk after his (23-0, 14 KOs) victory in the rematch with Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) on December 21. The former world champion in two weight categories noted that our compatriot once again demonstrated a remarkable performance, defeating his British opponent for the second time.
Holyfield posted a video message on his YouTube channel. The prominent boxer reminded everyone that Usyk had gone from being a cruiserweight to a heavyweight, beating natural heavyweights.
"Usyk, you done it again. From cruiserweight to heavyweight to beat the heavyweight guy a second time, great job, man," Holyfield said.
As a reminder, all three judges gave the victory to the Ukrainian boxer with a score of 116-112.
