Bloom in a few weeks: what flowers are the easiest to grow in the summer house

It's a hot July and the garden planting season is long over. Nevertheless, gardening experts say it's not too late to add new ornamental plants to your garden.

Some species can quickly acclimate to the outdoors, and germinate and bloom within a matter of weeks. According to the Express, if you plant verbena, cornflower, and nasturtium in your summer house, you can get flowers very quickly.

Verbena

Verbena seeds can be planted directly into well-prepared, moist soil starting in early May. In this case, you will get flowers in July. If you sow the plant in July, the verbena will bloom in September-October.

This plant will decorate your flower garden with tall stems with tassels of purple flowers at the top. Verbena is an excellent lure for butterflies and bees and a good honey plant. For intensive growth, it needs rich soil and plenty of direct sunlight.

Cornflower

This plant is praised for its distinctive flowers with carved petals in a recognizable blue color and its ability to bloom quickly. However, the planting period is limited to April-May.

The flowering annual is very hardy and unpretentious to the conditions of keeping. Cornflowers grow quickly and bloom profusely. When planning a place for them in the garden, choose a sunny area with well-drained soil. During the flowering process, do not forget to remove the wilted heads. Also, water in time as the plant needs moist soil. This is especially true during the hottest periods of summer.

Nasturtium

Nasturtium flowers are orange, red, and yellow in color, and can also be pink and even marble, so they make the garden colorful and bright. The plant begins to produce buds about a month after planting, and blooms until October. Therefore, you can still have time to decorate your flower garden with nasturtiums in July.

However, make sure that the plant does not suffer from drought and that you sow the seeds in the part of your garden where sunlight shines for at least half a day.
