Safonov was entrusted with deciding the fate of the match, but he missed the shot - overtime.
But in overtime, Zaporizhzhia still brought the match to its victory - Nikitin's mid-range shot and Kabanov's long-range shot, which allowed Zaporizhzhia to lead +5 with a minute to go, were decisive.
For Politechnic-Galicia, Maksym Safonov was the most productive with 20 points, and Yaroslav Karpiuk had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. For Zaporizhzhia, Maxym Nikitin was the best player, finishing the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
