Affordable electric cars proved more efficient than expensive ones - study

German automobile club ADAC has found out that affordable electric cars are more efficient than expensive models in terms of energy consumption. The experts also checked the range of dozens of cars.

The results of the study were published on the website of the organization. Hyundai Ioniq 6 and Hyundai Kona were on the first and third places in terms of energy efficiency. These are inexpensive electric cars, which bypassed much more prestigious models.

In second place is the Tesla Model 3, which is its company's most affordable car. ADAC has also checked the range in real-world conditions for a host of modern electric cars.
