A Russian helicopter was "shot down" by a drone in Russia: it had to make an emergency landing, a fire broke out

In the Rostov region of Russia, a Mi-28 helicopter allegedly made an emergency landing after a collision with a Ukrainian drone. This provoked a massive fire – grass caught fire under the aircraft due to the high temperature of the engine, and the fire covered about 500 square meters of territory.

This was reported by Russian media. It is noted that the military helicopter was found in the middle of a field in the Azov region on the morning of July 5 by local farmers. The crew members were not found nearby, and the aircraft itself was "seriously damaged." Firefighters arrived at the scene to fight the fire.

Last night, after a drone attack in Rostov-on-Don in Russia, a terminal on the territory of a petroleum products plant caught fire. Although local authorities claimed only "landscape" fires and the "shooting down" of ten drones over the region.

Residents heard drones flying overhead and loud explosions. It is noted that some of them may have been the work of air defense. OJSC "NZNP Rostovskiy Branch" on the Left Bank of the Don between Rostov and Bataysk was hit. Some propagandists wrote about "the most massive attack of the Armed Forces drones" on Rostov.

Also that night, it was restless in the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. From there, the occupiers often launch "Shakhtys" into Ukraine. According to the Russians, the city was allegedly attacked by drones, the falling debris of which damaged "civilian objects."

- On the morning of July 4, drones of the DIU hit the Tambov Powder Plant in Russia. It is located in the city of Kotovsk. At the same time, the official authorities of the aggressor state deny that the powder plant was hit.

- President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had started striking Russian oil refineries because the world had not stopped Russian aggression against our country. However, some countries are calling for an end to such actions, as they consider them an escalation of the conflict.
