Actors often die and are injured during filming

From time to time, accidents happen on set that can cost actors, stuntmen, and crew members their lives. A badly executed stunt or accidentally loaded weapon has stopped the filming process more than once.

When planning to show the audience an exciting action movie or an interesting western, directors refuse to use cheap props and replace them with high-quality props. OBOZREVATEL has collected 5 tragic incidents on the set.

  • The movie "The Raven"

The son of the famous actor Bruce Lee died during a shooting in the movie "The Raven." According to the plot, 28-year-old Brandon Lee was saving his beloved from rapists who were supposed to shoot a shell into his stomach with a firearm.

During the first take, in which the revolver's drum was shot, real bullets were used. They were supposed to be removed before the shot was filmed, but due to human inattention, one cartridge remained in the gun. The bullet entered the actor's intestines and hit his spine. Brandon died of blood loss in the hospital.
