How not to cook buckwheat:
1. Do not rinse buckwheat before cooking
A packet of buckwheat contains a lot of husks and various debris. Therefore, be sure to rinse the product well.
2. Boiling for a long time
Overcooked buckwheat is of no use. In addition, it sticks together and becomes like one solid lump.
3. Cooking without pre-soaking
Buckwheat contains phytic acid. This substance interferes with the absorption of nutrients. Therefore, buckwheat should be soaked for at least 30 minutes before boiling.
Buckwheat can be eaten not only in boiled form, but also made into buckwheat cakes. They can be eaten even during the fast, which is currently underway.
