You won't need an iron: how to dry clothes so they are wrinkle-free

Alina MilsentLife
To dry clothes, use a hanger

Ironing clothes can be a tedious task, especially during the summer when the room is already hot. You can save a lot of time and effort by hanging your clothes properly during the drying process.

This life hack is particularly suitable for shirts. Genialne.pl has provided instructions on how to dry clothes after washing so that you won't have to iron them.

Life hack with a hanger

So, you've washed your clothes and are going to dry them on a dryer, balcony, or outside. Instead of hanging your wet shirts on a clothesline, use a hanger. This simple but smart alternative will instantly straighten your clothes. However, to maintain the shape of the shirt, you should weigh down the bottom - clothespins are perfect for this. Carefully attach them to the edge of the fabric, and then let the shirt dry. After a few hours, the clothes will not only be fresh and fragrant but also wrinkle-free.

Additional tips

  1. Shake each garment before hanging it up - this will straighten the fabric and make it less wrinkled.
  2. During the washing process, ensure that the clothes wrinkle as little as possible. Therefore, always set the spin speed to low and remove the clothes from the machine immediately after the cycle is complete.
  3. Experts recommend adding a few ice cubes to the washing machine drum - this will result in smoother and less wrinkled fabric.

Homemade fabric-smoothing spray

Ingredients needed:

  • Water
  • White vinegar
  • Hair conditioner

Mix 1.5 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of hair conditioner, and pour the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on the wrinkles and then stretch the fabric. If vinegar has an unpleasant odor, you can replace it with a fabric softener.
