Simple dough for fried patties

Deep-fried patties are a great alternative to any kind of pastry. They fry quickly, and both salty and sweet fillings are suitable here. The main thing is to prepare the right fluffy dough.

  • flour - 650 g + 3 tbsp for the brew
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • yeast - 50 grams (pressed)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • stuffing as desired - potatoes, cabbage, cheese + herbs and eggs, jam

Method of preparation:

1. Make a brew: 3 tablespoons of flour + 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil + salt pour steep boiling water (250 ml). Set aside to cool.

2. Pour 250 ml of warm water over the yeast +1 tbsp of sugar.

3. Combine the room temperature brew with the yeast and gradually add the flour (you may need a little less or more).

4. Knead the dough until it is comfortable to work with (not clogged with flour).



5. Sprinkle the work surface with flour, roll out a thin dough.

6. Cut out circles.

7. Form patties.


8. Fry over medium heat

9. Place on paper towels.
