On 13 July, Russian war criminals attacked the town of Orikhiv, Polohiv district, Zaporizhzhia region, and the village of Nikolske, Kherson district, Kherson region. There are casualties and injuries in both settlements.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, wrote on Telegram that the enemy had fired mortar shells at the town of Orikhiv. As a result, about three houses were destroyed and a man was killed.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Yuriy Malashko, said that an 87-year-old man was wounded and a 40-year-old resident died from his injuries.
The occupiers also shelled Verkhnya Tersa with multiple rocket launchers. A 66-year-old civilian was wounded there and taken to a medical facility.
The enemy fired an Iskander-K tactical missile system at the territory of the Malokaterynivka enterprise. The blast wave and debris partially destroyed the warehouse. Two people were injured and are being provided with the necessary medical care.
On 13 July, a civilian woman was killed in Kherson region as a result of shelling by the Russian Armed Forces of Nikolske village in Kherson district.
The tragedy was confirmed by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin. He wrote on his Telegram channel that the deceased was 85 years old.
The explosions in the village occurred around 12:00 on Thursday. It is known that the enemy used artillery in the attack.
One of the shells hit the yard of an elderly woman. The civilian died on the spot.
"The doctors who arrived at the scene of the tragedy could only pronounce her dead. The woman sustained injuries incompatible with life," said the head of the Regional Military Administration.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office announced on Telegram that it had launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
