Lazy dumplings for breakfast in 10 minutes: what must be added to the dough
Lazy dumplings are a dish that even someone who doesn't know how to cook can make because they are easy to prepare. All you need to do is make the dough properly, cut it, and cook it. You can also cook them with fillings, such as cheese, potatoes, and berries.
Cook Julia shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious lazy dumplings, the dough for which is made with semolina.
To keep the dumplings in shape, add semolina to the dough!
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 350g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- salt - pinch
- semolina - 3 tbsp.
- flour - 2 tbsp.
- + flour for sprinkling the surface
- + sour cream/berries/condensed milk/jam to serve
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, egg, salt, and sugar and rub with a spoon against the walls of the bowl, add semolina, and flour, knead the dough, and leave for 10-15 minutes.
2. Put the finished dough on a floured surface, divide it into 4 parts, roll each into a thin sausage, and cut it into small pieces.
3. Make balls out of them and put them on a board sprinkled with flour.
4. Bring the water to a boil and cook the dumplings for 2 minutes from boiling.
5. Serve dumplings with sour cream, and butter - it will be very delicious!
