How to wash greasy kitchen towels: an easy way
Grease stains are an eternal problem with kitchen textiles. If it's possible to get rid of them, it will take a lot of effort. Therefore, household experts advise paying more attention to the proper removal of grease from towels, tablecloths and napkins.
OBOZ.UA asked about the main life hacks in this regard. Experts say that you can get rid of even very strong and old dirt.
Soaking
Oddly enough, soaking with oil can help to cope with greasy stains. To prepare the solution, take:
- hot water - 5 liters;
- any detergent - 100 grams;
- any bleach - 1 tablespoon;
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons.
All these components should be thoroughly mixed together and the contaminated textiles should be placed in the resulting solution. Soaking should last for several hours. To get the best result, it is worth stirring things in water from time to time - this will help to get rid of fat in the fibers faster.
Washing
After soaking, wash the clothes. A suitable cleaning in the washing machine will be enough.
However, before that, the towels should be removed from the solution and wrung out well. Only in this form should they be sent to the drum. This will remove the maximum amount of oil residue from the fibers that was in the soaking liquid, making it easier to wash.
