Light-colored clothing tends to get dirty quickly, and frequent washing can damage its appearance. White socks, in particular, tend to lose their color after the first use.

That's why most people purchase several pairs at once, anticipating their quick dirtiness. OBOZREVATEL has discovered some tips to help you address this issue.

A dishwasher tablet can save white socks and restore their bright white color.

To achieve this, dissolve the tablet in warm water and soak the soiled clothes for at least 30 minutes, adjusting the time based on the severity of the stains. Then, either machine wash the clothes or wash them by hand.

Bleach can also effectively deal with stubborn dirt, but it will take more time. Dissolve the bleach in water and soak the socks for 5-6 hours before washing them. Be sure to read the instructions on the label carefully before using bleach.

It's important to note that the bleach method should only be used for white clothing, as this type of cleaning can ruin colored clothes.

Vinegar is an indispensable tool in the battle against dirt and odors. Mix one teaspoon of vinegar in one liter of warm water and soak your socks. Leave them for 30 minutes and then launder them in the washing machine.
