How to get tons of sweet strawberries: you only need three spoonfuls of fertilizer
When the strawberry season arrives, it seems that this berry can be eaten endlessly, and the only limitation may be the size of the harvest. But experienced gardeners convince - the amount of fruit from the plant can be significantly increased with a simple fertilizer.
OBOZREVATEL found out the recipe for this remedy. For it will need only simple and cheap ingredients.
To make a solution for fertilizing strawberries, you need to take:
- baking soda - 50 grams or 3 tablespoons;
- pharmacy iodine - 20 drops;
- wood ash - 1 cup;
- water - 10 liters.
Soda, iodine and ash should be placed in a bucket and pour water, mix thoroughly and leave to infuse for about 3 hours. It is important that the remedy should be prepared in the shade - it must not be heated above 50 degrees, so that it does not lose its properties.
Apply the remedy by watering. About 500 milliliters of liquid will be needed for one strawberry bush.
