Elementary herring pâté: just chop all the ingredients
This kind of pâté you'll make in just a few minutes and get a great holiday snack or just a snack. All components of such a dish should simply be chopped until homogeneous. It is very delicious served on bread with sweet onions on top.
The idea for herring pâté is published on the page of food blogger Victoria with the nickname cook_with_me_at_home on Instagram. The cook notes that the onion should choose shallot - it has a mild and not pungent taste.
- herring - 190 g
- onions - 40 g
- apples - 45 g
- egg (boiled) - 1 pc
- butter - 40 g
- sugar - 1/2 tsp.
- vinegar - 1/2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel herring fillets and cut into manageable pieces.
2. Boil the eggs.
3. Cut into halves.
4. Cut the apple. For this pâté it is better to take a green, sour-sweet apple
5. Cut the onion into pieces (shallot is best, it is more tender and tastes better).
6. Put everything in the blender bowl.
7. Grind until homogeneous.
