Budget-friendly crepes made from batter on water: they are soft and elastic
Many housekeeps believe that elastic and soft crêpes can only be made with milk-based batter. But in fact, even plain water will do. The batter will be homogeneous and not too runny. The most important thing is to make it correctly.
The idea of making elastic crepes with water was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiany Dordiai (tanja.dordjai).
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of water
- 2 eggs
- 300 g of flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp of butter
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs with a mixer with salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat until sugar is dissolved.
2. Pour in water at room temperature and stir.
3. Keep whisking the dough and add the flour.
4. At the end, add melted butter to the batter and mix.
5. Grease the pan with oil and bake in the usual way.
