Young cabbage steaks with minced meat and cheese: a hearty recipe in 20 minutes
Young cabbage can be the basis not only for salads, but also for casseroles and pies. It can also be used to make chips, steaks, appetizers and soup.
Cook Irina shared a recipe on Instagram for cabbage steaks with stuffing, grated cheese and tomatoes.
Ingredients:
- young cabbage - 1 pc.
- vegetable oil - 2 tsp.
- minced chicken - 250-300 grams
- onion - 1 pc
- sour cream - 2 tbsp.
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp.
- spices - to taste
- hard cheese - 100-150 g
- tomatoes - 1-2 pcs.
How to cook:
Young cabbage cut into round plates 1.5-2 cm thick, transfer to a baking dish, grease with oil and sprinkle with salt. Mix the stuffing with the chopped onions, salt and spices. Add sour cream and tomato paste, mix everything well.
2. Place the minced meat on the cabbage and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 C.
3. Place tomatoes on top, brush with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for another 15-20 minutes at 180 C.
