What cabbage can be used to quickly cook cabbage rolls: they turn out to be very juicy

These cabbage rolls are moderately fatty and very juicy. And the leaves do not spin out. This is because instead of ordinary white cabbage, Peking cabbage is used.

The idea of cooking juicy cabbage rolls from Chinese cabbage was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana with the nickname bonitavkusnoo. Sour cream gravy adds a special flavor.

Ingredients:

  • Peking cabbage
  • 300 g of minced meat
  • 1 cup of rice boiled until half cooked
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • salt and pepper

Ingredients for the gravy:

  • 150 g sour cream
  • parsley
  • 100 g of cheese
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 egg or 1 tbsp. of flour

Method of preparation:

1. Steam the cabbage and disassemble it into leaves. Cut off the thick edge. Fry onions and carrots separately. Dice the bell pepper.

2. Mix the minced meat, frying, pepper, and boiled rice until half cooked.

3. Season with salt and pepper and stir.

4. Put the filling on the edge of the cabbage and form a long roll. About 1.5 tbsp of filling per cabbage roll.

5. Put the cabbage rolls in the mold and fill them to the middle with water.

6. Bake for 30 minutes until the rice is tender.

7. Mix sour cream, flour, herbs, salt, pepper, cheese, and chopped tomatoes and garlic if desired.

8. Pour everything over the cabbage rolls and spread evenly.

9. Put it in the oven or multicooker.
