Versatile chocolate cream for cakes: can be used after just 20 minutes
The perfect cream that holds its shape, tastes good, and looks appetizing at the same time is not so easy to make. But there is a way out. You can make a real masterpiece out of traditional ingredients.
For example, a food blogger with the nickname v.vanilinka posted a recipe for chocolate stable cream on her Instagram page that is suitable for any dessert. The ingredients are calculated for a cake with a diameter of 18-22 cm.
Ingredients:
- 300 g of cream cheese
- 200 g of chocolate (black/milk/ or a mix of black and milk)
- 100 g of 33% cream
- 50 g of powdered sugar (if you are cooking with milk chocolate, do not add powdered sugar as it will be too sweet).
Method of preparation:
1. Heat cream so that it nearly boils. Pour over chocolate and leave to melt. Now whisk with a blender.
2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar separately. Add the chocolate and beat again.
3. The cream will be very soft at first. Leave it for 20-30 minutes to stabilize and you can cover the cake.
