Korean-style carrots are a great independent snack or an ingredient for a variety of dishes. If you have this vegetable on the table, you don't need any more salads because carrots go well with everything.

The idea of cooking delicious Korean-style carrots was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nadia (nadia.oranska). The marinade is very simple.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of carrots
  • 2-3 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 4-5 tbsp of vinegar
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp of ground pepper
  • 1 tsp of ground coriander
  • 5 bay leaves or 1 tsp. ground (optional)
  • 0.5 cups of oil

Method of preparation:

1. Grate carrots on a special grater for Korean-style carrots.

2. Season with marinade. Add all the ingredients, as well as garlic, and mix.

3. Transfer to a container (jar, bucket), tamping the carrots.

4. Put in the refrigerator for a day.

5. Carrots are stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
