Processed cheese with mushrooms at home: cooked for 20 minutes
Processed cheese can be easily made at home. Traditionally, this product is based on milk or cottage cheese, and for a bright taste, it is supplemented with herbs, mushrooms, garlic or onions.
Food blogger Kateryna Movchan (katarina_movchan) shared a recipe for processed cheese with mushrooms on her Instagram page that you can make in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese 9% - 250 g
- butter - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- baking soda - 0.5 tsp
- champignons - 200 g
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the mushrooms. Chop and fry them until tender.
2. Next, mix the cottage cheese, butter, egg, salt and baking soda in a saucepan. Beat everything with a blender until smooth.
3. Put the resulting mass on the fire and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add the mushrooms, stir and remove from the heat.
5. Pour the finished mass into a container and store in the refrigerator.
