Dishes with mayonnaise are always very appetizing, and you want more and more. The reason is that store-bought sauce contains a lot of different flavor enhancers and colorants. This is very harmful for the body. Therefore, you should use a safe home-made version.

The idea of making a delicious and safe homemade mayonnaise was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Daria Ivanova (eatme_daily). All the ingredients for the sauce are sure to be in your fridge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pc - egg
  • 2 tsp - mustard
  • 25 ml - lemon juice
  • 0.25 tsp - sugar
  • 0.25 tsp - salt
  • 250 ml - vegetable oil

Method of preparation:

1. Beat the egg into the blender bowl.

2. Add all ingredients except oil.

3. At the end, slowly pour in the oil - it will form a second layer on top and will not combine with the rest of the ingredients.

4. Place the immersion blender in the bowl and hold it against the bottom. The blender head should completely cover the egg.

5. Beat on the upswing until the mayonnaise is almost ready. The mass will immediately begin to turn white and thicken.

6. At the end, you can slightly lift the edges of the blender in a circle to capture all the oil.

7. Adjust the flavor with salt, pepper and lemon.
