How to make the iconic sweet "Potato" cakes: more than one generation knows about them

"Potato" is the name of the delicious sweet cakes that generations have known about. They are very easy to make at home because you don't even have to bake anything. They are based on ordinary cookies.

The idea of making sweet potato cakes from cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Simonchuk (cook_julia_simonchuk). It also turns out to be very budget-friendly.

Ingredients:

• biscuits "for coffee" - 450 g

• butter - 120 g
• cocoa - 60 g
• condensed milk (raw) - 230 g
• cocoa for sprinkling - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Crush the cookies.

2. Add grated cold butter and make crumbs.

3. Add cocoa.

4. Stir until smooth.

5. Add condensed milk, mix again until smooth.

6. Form the potatoes.

7. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

8. Sprinkle cocoa on top through a sieve.
