How to keep canned food open so that it does not deteriorate: effective tips
Canned food is considered to be a long-term storage product, so it can be stored in a cellar or refrigerator for months. But for such food to remain suitable for consumption, it needs the right conditions.

How to store closed canned food
1. It is recommended to store canned meat, vegetables, or fruits at an air temperature of no more than 15 degrees and a relative humidity of up to 75% in a sufficiently ventilated room.
2. Do not store closed canned food in the refrigerator. They may not only taste bad, but also become sugary (the latter applies to condensed milk, jam, and compotes).
3. If the packaging is damaged, the product can spoil very quickly. Therefore, the integrity of the container must be monitored very closely. Metal canned food is particularly susceptible to deformation and corrosion.
4. When buying canned food, make sure that the container is intact and undamaged.
How to properly store opened canned food
1. It's best to open canned food right before eating it. Store them in this form for no more than a day. In this case, the contents should be transferred to glass or ceramic dishes.
2. If you have already opened the canned food, store it only in the refrigerator.
3. Also, put the contents in an airtight container.
4. You should not pour out the brine or sauce from under the canned food, because it keeps the product better.
