For breakfast and a snack: a hearty pita bread pie
Pita bread can be used to make all sorts of things: pies, lasagna, shawarma, appetizers, and rolls. Very often, after preparing such dishes, there is a lot of leftover pita bread. But you should not throw them away. They can become the basis for a delicious pie – the perfect breakfast or snack.
Food blogger Oksana Bilinska (oxana_bil) shared a recipe on her Instagram page for a delicious pie made from leftover pita bread that can be prepared without baking in just a few minutes.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 4 pcs.
- milk – 100 ml
- hard cheese – 100 g
- spices
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper, oregano.
2. Grate the cheese. Add to the milk mixture.
3. Cut the pita bread into small pieces. Add to the mass and mix.
4. Pour the mixture into a preheated frying pan. Fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
