Fluffy cottage cheese doughnuts in 30 minutes: basic baking
These donuts are a very simple and quick pastry. They are made based on a universal cottage cheese dough that does not require yeast. The donuts can be baked in the oven or fried in a pan and can be supplemented with any filling.
One of the culinary blogs (yulia_delicious_recipes) published a recipe for cottage cheese donuts in the oven on Instagram. They contain a minimal amount of sugar, so even children can safely eat them.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 1 pc.
- sugar – 2 tbsp.
- vanilla sugar – 10 g
- sunflower oil – 1 tbsp.
- cottage cheese – 250 g
- flour – 200 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. To prepare the dough, gradually mix all the ingredients: egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil, cottage cheese, and flour with baking powder. The dough should be elastic and soft. If it sticks too much to your hands, you can add a little more flour.
2. Divide the finished dough into 12 pieces, form balls from each of them, and cut out the center. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
3. Brush the doughnuts with milk or a mixture of milk and egg yolk.
4. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
