Stewed cabbage often turns out to be very dry and bland. This is because, in addition to meat, you need to add another simple ingredient to the dish - a piece of bacon. The taste of cabbage will be very good.
The idea of cooking delicious stewed cabbage with bacon was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tamara Lozynska (tomka_recepti). You can choose any kind of meat.
Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 1/2
- meat
- onion
- carrot
- salt, pepper, smoked paprika
- a piece of bacon
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the meat cut into strips in vegetable oil (you can use any kind of meat).
2. Sprinkle with spices immediately.
3. Add onions and carrots.
4. Fry.
5. Add finely chopped cabbage, stirring from time to time, cook under the lid until tender.
6. Almost at the end, add a piece of butter to make the cabbage juicy.
