To make the mashed potatoes really tasty and not dry, you should make a thick goulash. Pork is ideal for this dish. It is juicy, hearty and very soft after stewing.
The idea of cooking pork goulash with potatoes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Halyna with the nickname halyna_nemesh.
Ingredients:
- meat (pork) - about 1 kg
- onion - 1 large
- carrots - 2-3 pieces
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
- flour - 1-1.5 tbsp
- green parsley
- salt, pepper, vegetable seasoning
- red paprika
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the meat in vegetable oil on both sides.
2. Add onions and carrots.
3. Season with spices and add flour and water (to cover the meat).
4. Simmer over low heat under a lid.
5. Add water if necessary and stir from time to time.
6. Cook for 1.30-2 hours to make the meat tender.
