Mackerel is a fish that doesn't require a variety of marinades based on mayonnaise, sour cream, and soy sauce. This product needs juiciness first and foremost. An ordinary lemon will perfectly cope with this.

Ingredients:

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.
  • lemon - 1 pc
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • parsley - 2-3 sprigs
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. In a bowl, combine the oil and juice of 1/3 of the lemon, and slice the remaining lemon into rings.

2. Add the garlic, ground black pepper, and salt to the lemon juice and oil mixture.

3. Mix everything well.

4. Gut the mackerel, and remove the gills.

5. Rub the marinade well on both sides and inside.

6. Leave to marinate for 40 minutes at room temperature.

7. Put lemon slices and parsley sprigs in the belly. Put the fish on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

8. Fish is delicious both hot and cold.
