The most delicious lazy varenyky with berries for breakfast: perfect for kids
It's not an easy task to come up with a delicious breakfast that kids will love. Kids always prefer sweets, and they refuse to eat really healthy and nutritious food. This is where lazy varynyky come in.
The idea of making the perfect lazy varenyky for children for breakfast was published on the Instagram page of nutritionist Nina Dubrovska (moireceptuforeva).The dish contains safe whole wheat flour and berries.
Ingredients:
- 300 grams of cottage cheese 5 % (not paste-like because it is too moist)
- 1 chicken egg
- 5 tbsp. of rice flour, you can use whole grain flour
- 1 tbsp of white flour for rolling
- a handful of berries (blueberries, raspberries)
- for children over two years old, you can add a little sugar (or a little honey)
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, egg, sugar, rice flour and 1 spoon of white flour.
2. Knead with your hands for homogeneity.
3. The dough will be sticky. Put a pot of water on the fire.
4. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
5. Roll each part into a sausage and cut into pieces.
6. Put a berry in each piece and make balls.
7. Throw into boiling water. Cook for 3 minutes after they surface.
8. Grease the finished varenyky with butter.
