Tastier than cauliflower: how to cook white cabbage in batter
White cabbage is a budget-friendly and versatile vegetable that can be cooked in many ways: stewed, baked, pickled, stuffed, or added to salads and borscht. In addition, there is another simple idea.
Food blogger Halyna (reeixit) shared a recipe for fried white cabbage in batter on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- white cabbage
- eggs - 1 pc
- kefir - 150 ml
- flour - 4.5 tbsp
- salt, black pepper, dried garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Boil cabbage in advance. Disassemble it into leaves and cut off the thick veins on each of them.
2. The leaves can be cut as desired.
3. For the batter, mix eggs, kefir, flour and spices. The thickness of the batter determines how thick the dough will be.
4. Dip the cabbage leaves in the prepared batter and fry them in a pan.
