Zibrov told whether he keeps in touch with Bilonozhko's wife and what mysterious situation happened after the death of his best friend
Ukrainian pop singer Pavlo Zibrov has revealed that after the death of one of his best friends, Vitaliy Bilonozhko, he has been trying to keep in touch with his wife Svitlana. However, the deceased friend often reminds of himself in the artist's everyday life.
Vitaliy Bilonozhko and Pavlo Zibrov had been friends for over 35 years and were "real brothers on stage and in life." In order not to leave the wife of the singer, who died of cardiac arrest on January 12, alone, the artist periodically invites her to spend time together at concerts or charity events. The celebrity admitted this in an interview with Briefly About.
"His sudden death came as a huge shock to me. But even now that he is gone, I have not stopped keeping in touch with his family. We communicate with Svetlana, and I try to be there for her whenever she needs me. We go to concerts together, including charity performances for children, soldiers, IDPs, and wounded soldiers. I am sincerely grateful to the Bilonozhko family and personally to Svitlana, who organized a very important, beautiful, melodic, heartbreaking evening in memory of Vitaliy, and I took part with great respect and sang a song from his repertoire, "Apple Fog," said Pavlo Zibrov.
The singer has spent a lot of time with the Bilonozhko family over the 35 years of their friendship and still remembers how their family was formed. "We always tried to be close to each other: we rented a large suite with several rooms and spent our evenings having sincere conversations. During our trips, we would open our souls to each other, laugh and sing. Vitaliy was the soul of the company, a man of incredible energy, humor, and warmth. His velvety baritone, sincerity, cheerfulness, and kindness will forever remain in my memory and heart," the singer said.
It was with this baritone that he had a mysterious situation at the recording studio. The artist was working on a new arrangement when he noticed that his voice sounded incredibly similar to that of his best friend.
"The sound engineer Gennady Pugachev also noticed this and said: "Pavlo Mykolayovych, you've already done several takes, but your voice sounds just like Vitalik's, one to one. Try to change your manner or timbre, do something different." I really tried, but every time I started singing, I felt as if my friend Vitaliy Bilonozhko was standing behind me, at the microphone. It was as if we were performing this song as a duet. The feeling was so strong and real that even after the recording, I had the impression that we were singing together, as we used to, side by side," the artist said.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Svitlana Bilonozhko was surprised by what she was seeing 9 days after her husband's death. According to the star, she felt as if someone was stroking her head. Her son said that his mother was not well.
