Simple jelly dessert in a glass: you don't have to bake anything
You don't have to prepare a variety of cakes for the celebration. You can go the simpler route and make a jelly dessert. All you need to do is pour a variety of layers into glasses and it will turn out very aesthetically pleasing and tasty.
The idea of making a delicate jelly dessert without baking was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Ilona with the nickname thefoodhub.by_ilona. It is based on rich mango puree, but you can also use orange juice.
Ingredients:
- 25 g. instant gelatin
- 300 ml. milk of 3.2 fat content
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa
- a quarter cup of sugar
- 350 g of sour cream
- half a cup of powdered sugar
- mango puree
Method of preparation:
1. Pour instant gelatin into cold boiled water (400 ml). Set aside to swell.
2. For the first layer, you will need 300 ml of milk, 1 tbsp of cocoa and a quarter cup of sugar. Use a 200 ml glass.
3. Combine cocoa with sugar and pour a little prepared milk into the cocoa and sugar. You will get a thick mass without lumps, then add the rest of the milk and mix well.
4. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat to cool to a warm state.
5. Check the gelatin. Measure out 150 ml of diluted gelatin and pour in the warm cocoa. Pour evenly into 6 cups and refrigerate.
6. For the second layer, mix 350 g of sour cream and half a cup of powdered sugar. Add 100 ml of gelatin. Stir the mixture. Divide into 6 glasses again. Put in the refrigerator until it hardens.
7. For the third layer, add the remaining gelatin to 300 ml of mango puree, mix well and pour the third layer into the glasses.
8. All layers harden quickly enough.
