Even such a simple product as buckwheat can be easily spoiled. The grains may stick together and become fresh and dry. All this is due to mistakes that even experienced housewives often make.
The FoodOboz editorial team will tell you how to cook buckwheat properly so as not to spoil it. Be sure to avoid the following mistakes.
The usual method does not work
Most cereals are prepared with 1 cup of product and 2 cups of water. All the ingredients are combined and set to cook until tender. However, for buckwheat, it is better to use a different method.
Following the usual proportions, pour boiling water over the cereal. Then cover and wait until all the water is absorbed. The buckwheat will not be overcooked, and the grains will be crumbly and soft at the same time.
After the buckwheat has absorbed all the water, you can add oil, your favorite spices, roasted vegetables and mushrooms.
