Lazy strudel with phyllo dough: what to cook with
If you have some delicious apples, it's a great idea to make a strudel. For this dessert, you don't even need to knead the dough but use ready-made phyllo. It bakes perfectly and turns out to be very crispy.
The idea of making a lazy apple strudel from phyllo dough was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasiia with the nickname aprilparadise. It has a very juicy filling inside.
Ingredients:
- phyllo dough (5 sheets)
- apples
- nuts
- sugar, cinnamon
- ghee or butter
- egg yolk + milk for greasing
Method of preparation:
1. Dice the apples and stew them in a frying pan with a spoonful of butter. Add sugar and cinnamon.
2. Chop the nuts and add to the apples.
3. Brush the sheets of phyllo dough with melted butter and stack them on top of each other.
4. Put the apples and roll them.
5. Brush with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.
6. Place in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
