Juicy meat rolls: what to add to the filling

Rolls are the perfect appetizer for any celebration. You can choose any of your favorite products for the filling. But for juiciness and bright flavor, you should add butter and cheese.

The idea of making festive meat rolls was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nadiia Oranska (nadia.oranska).

Ingredients:

  • 500 g fillet (chicken or pork)
  • salt, pepper
  • 50 g butter + 20 g herbs
  • 10 g of oil for frying
  • flour for rolling
  • 30 g of hard cheese

Ingredients for the cream sauce:

  • 300 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp. of sour cream
  • a clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp. of flour
  • salt

Method of preparation:

1. Any fillet is suitable for the recipe. Cook chicken and turkey for 25 minutes only, and pork or beef for 35-40 minutes.

2. Cut the chicken fillet into two halves, and pound on both sides.

3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix the oil with the herbs and grease the chicken fillet. Put a small piece of hard cheese and roll it into a tight roll, which you roll in flour.

4. Fry in vegetable oil for 2 minutes on all sides.

5. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce: water, sour cream, flour, crushed garlic, and salt. Pour into a frying pan and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes, tossing from time to time to prevent the fingers from sticking to the bottom. At the end, sprinkle with herbs to serve.
