Juicy chicken kebab in the oven: perfect for the winter season
Traditionally, barbecue is cooked in the warm season. But if you want to have this dish in winter, you can use the following option. Bake the meat in the oven, and marinate it in kefir.
The idea of cooking homemade barbecue in the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Brailo (ketiv_). The meat is very soft and juicy.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 2 breasts
- curry - 1 tsp.
- Greek yogurt - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for an hour to prevent them from burning in the oven or on the grill.
2. Marinate the meat. Peel the chicken fillet from the films and cut off the excess fat.
3. Cut into portions, put in a bowl for further marinating.
4. Add curry, Greek yogurt, mix well and leave for 10-15 minutes to marinate.
5. Thread the chicken fillets (pieces) onto the skewers soaked in water, evenly distributing them along the entire length. Bake in the multicooker at 180 degrees for 12 minutes.
6. Can be cooked in the oven. Put the chicken kebabs on a baking sheet covered with parchment at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes (cooking time depends on the size of the pieces).
7. Chicken kebabs should be turned from side to side during baking (in a multicooker, turn once).
8. If desired, chicken kebabs can be made with vegetables.
