One of the main components of all salads is the dressing, which can both reveal the taste of the dish and spoil it if it is, for example, store-bought mayonnaise. It can be replaced with aromatic oils that go perfectly with citrus juice and puree, mustard, honey, and spices.

Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared on Instagram 2 recipes for light, spicy, and tasty salad dressings that will reveal the taste of dishes in a new way.

Mustard dressing

Ingredients:

  • Dijon mustard – 50 g
  • olive oil – 220 ml
  • salt – 3 g
  • lemon juice – 20 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the mustard, salt, and lemon juice, stir with a whisk, and then continue to stir, pour in the oil.

2. Let it stand for 30 minutes and you can dress salads.

This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for at least a week. It can stratify – just mix well again.

Spicy dressing with mango and passion fruit puree

Ingredients:

  • mango puree – 100 g
  • Passion fruit puree – 100 g
  • lemon juice – 20 g
  • salt – 3 g
  • sriracha sauce – 60 g
  • olive oil – 60 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix mango puree with passion fruit puree, add lemon juice, salt, and sriracha sauce, mix, pour in olive oil, and mix again.

The finished dressing is ready to use immediately for salads.
