How to pickle zucchini: a budget appetizer in 20 minutes
Zucchini season is just around the corner, which means you can make a lot of simple and interesting dishes with them. In addition to pancakes, pizza, and casseroles, they can also be deliciously pickled. Such an appetizer will surprise you with its spicy taste. It is perfect both for a festive and everyday table. The main thing is to make a good marinade.
Food blogger Alina shared a recipe for quick pickled zucchini that can be eaten in 20 minutes on her YouTube channel (Alina FooDee).
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 500 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- honey or sugar - 0.5 tbsp.
- vinegar -1 tbsp.
- parsley
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
- ground black pepper
Method of preparation:
1. First, wash and cut zucchini into thin rings. Season with salt, mix and leave for 5-10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, chop parsley and garlic.
3. For the marinade, mix honey or sugar, garlic, pepper, vinegar and oil.
4. Drain zucchini. Mix the vegetables with parsley and marinade thoroughly and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. It's ready!
